Reception of Ragan Schriver as a Priest

God willing, the Rev. Ragan Schriver, a former Roman Catholic priest and Associate Professor of Practice and Director of the MSSW program, will be received into the Episcopal Church at a special service for the reception of ordination vows. The service will take place at Church of the Ascension, Knoxville, on Saturday, January 25, at 11:00 AM Eastern. The Rt. Rev. Bishop Cole will celebrate with the Rt. Rev. R. William Franklin, Assisting Bishop of the Diocese of Long Island, preaching and the Rt. Rev. Gene Robinson, Rev. Amy Morehous, Madelon Brillante, and Mark Roebker presenting Rev. Schriver. All are welcome to attend and your prayers are requested. Clergy, please wear choir dress and white stole.
