2025 FORMA Annual Conference
January 27, 2025 - January 30, 2025
If you are a (clergy or lay) Christian formation practitioner, please plan to join in the 2025 Forma Annual Conference!
Forma is a ministry of Lifelong Learning at Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS) is the network for Christian Formation for the Episcopal Church and beyond.
Forma’s annual conference brings together Christian Formation practitioners for an intentional time of networking, learning, and inspiration. The 2025 conference will take place January 27-30, 2025, for 3.5 hours each day (12:30-4:00 CT / 1:30-5:00 ET). You can participate via Zoom or by traveling to an on-site retreat to experience the conference in community – the closest to us is Kanuga in Hendersonville, NC. Either way, the plenaries, worship, and workshops will be highly engaging and interactive. You can attend by yourself or invite other East TN practitioners to join you. Through a diocesan sponsorship, we have access to bulk (5+) ticket discounts and conference recordings.
The theme, Come Away Together (Retirémonos Juntos), comes from Mark 6:31-32: “‘Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.’ …And they went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves.” (NRSVA) This year Forma will offer live Spanish interpretation for the entire conference.
Registration is now open! Visit Forma’s website to learn more.
