The Ven. Dr. Jerry Askew will be honored at the upcoming National Philanthropy Day Luncheon of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Since 1985, Rev. Askew has served Knoxville in various capacities, as the Dean of Students and Associate Vice Chancellor for Development and Alumni Affairs at the University of Tennessee; the Present and CEO of the East Tennessee Foundation; the Senior Vice Present of St. Mary’s Health System; and as the President of the Alliance for Better Nonprofits. Currently, Rev. Askew serves as a deacon at St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral, Knoxville, and as the Archdeacon and congregational vitality consultant for the Episcopal Diocese of East Tennessee. We’re excited for Rev. Askew to be honored.
