The Rev. Ragan Schriver was received into the Episcopal Church from the Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 25, at a service at Church of the Ascension, Knoxville. The Rt. Rev. Brian Cole, Bishop of East Tennessee, celebrated the service with the Rt. Rev. William Franklin, Assisting Bishop of the Diocese of Long Island, preaching. The Rt. Rev. Gene Robinson was also present to be a presenter of Rev. Schriver, a long-time friend. Thank you to all who helped make this service possible.
