Hi. I’m Bishop Brian. I want to give you an important update on your diocesan staff. Emily Kirk, on August 15th, will be joining us as our new Parish Support Specialist. This is a redeveloped position for the front desk and the idea that Emily will help support parishes in our gathering and materials and helping us understand how best to think about ministry now and in the future.
So often if you have that first question of your diocesan staff, Emily might be the first person to help answer that question. She’s a good, thoughtful young person who’s grown up at St E’s in Farragut served as a young adult service core in the Diocese of Liverpool. And I want you to also have a chance to hear from you hear from her yourself. Emily.
Hi. My name is Emily. Kirk, and I am so excited to be joining the diocese as the Parish Support Specialist. I’m a member at St Elizabeth’s in Farragut, and I’m currently finishing up my degree in strategic leadership with Lipscomb University, and I can’t wait to meet you all and get started.
Again, thank you for the support of this team. And all the ways in which we share in ministry together. We are looking forward to welcoming Emily to our building. I would encourage you to come by and see us soon. Thank you.
