In a few weeks, Jesse Adkins, Missioner for Youth and Young Adults, will be taking a group of youth from around the diocese on a mission trip to Western North Carolina to help with efforts to rebuild after Hurricane Helene devastated the region in September 2024. They will be staying at Lake Logan, the Episcopal conference center for the Diocese of Western North Carolina, where they will restore campsites and trails damaged by the flooding. They will also help build a Habitat for Humanity house in Asheville that will provide housing for someone in need.
This is a great opportunity to invest in an enriching experience for our Episcopal youth while also lending aid to our neighbors in Western North Carolina. All donations will be used to cover expenses for food, lodging, and transportation and to purchase materials for building picnic tables at Lake Logan. Any excess funds raised will be reserved for future youth mission trips.
Sponsorship Amounts:
- Gold Level Sponsor: $250
- Covers a youth’s total cost to attend
- Silver Level Sponsor: $200
- Covers the total cost of a picnic table, which the youth will assemble for Lake Logan
- Bronze Level Sponsor: $100
Gold and Silver level sponsors may request an engraved dedication plaque to be placed on a picnic table. We will thank all of our sponsors in a public post unless you indicate that you wish to remain anonymous.
We welcome any amount you are able to contribute! Thank you for supporting our youth.
