Opportunity Fund
The Opportunity Fund is a wonderful resource for our parishes in East Tennessee. With such a valuable shared resource, time, attention, and discernment are needed in preparing and applying for a grant or loan.
Applications for a grant or loan must go through a parish, commission, or Bishop & Council for sponsorship. There should be an ongoing relationship between the sponsor and the organization for which the grant is intended. When a grant has been obtained, the sponsor should maintain this relationship to ensure that the funds are used to meet the needs described in the request.
Information and applications for both Social Ministry Grants and Church Expansion Grants and Loans are available below or may be obtained from the Canon for Finance & Administration (814 Episcopal School Way, Knoxville TN 37932). Please feel free to expand the space provided for the information within the forms, but please follow the format.
