ETNyouth Trail of Tears Pilgrimage

High School students are invited to join us June 5-9, 2023, as we travel across East TN to learn about the Trail of Tears, indigenous culture, and how to reconcile with our past and live into our future as God’s beloved community. The purpose of this trip is to understand East Tennessee’s history surrounding the Cherokee Tribe, the Indian Removal Act of 1830, and the life and culture of the indigenous person in East Tennessee today.
